A project in collaboration with the Akademie der bildenden Künste and the Klangforum Wien
composition mandate of netzzeit with world premieres of Peter Jakober and Matthias Kranebitter interpreted by musicians of the Klangforum Wien furthermore pieces by Enno Poppe, Simone Movio and Lindsay Cooper
CONTENT
The principal thought of ECHOTECTURE is opera work, which is not defined by libretto and composition, but by the parameters of spatial environment, in which the work of librettists, composers, scenographers and musicians is being created together. For the realization, the creators referred to the lost idea of the theatre composer, who is working daily and in close collaboration with the company, and who lightheartedly turns into music, whatever is brought to him through space and time. Two composers of the young generation – Peter Jakober and Matthias Kranebitter – were invited to undertake this task.
Koproduktion mit der Angewandten/ Bühnenbildklasse von Anna Viebrock und dem Klangforum Wien, scheitert wieder einmal im großen Umfang am nicht enden wollenden Boykott fast jeglicher Förderung unserer Arbeit durch das Bundeskanzleramt/ Sektion Kultur. Die kleine Version kann sich aber sehen lassen.
